Volunteer at IronMan 70.3 Melbourne 2025

IronMan 70.3 Melbourne is one of the city\'s biggest sporting events, bringing together athletes from around the world in swimming, cycling and running events. In addition to the competition, the event energizes the local community, celebrating resilience, health, and team spirit.

And you can be a part of this with Casa de Umbanda Vovó Catarina!

Why do we need volunteers?

On the day of the event, volunteers work in different shifts to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely:

  • Assisting athletes and the public at strategic points;
  • Delivering water, food and kits;
  • Guiding on route and logistics;
  • Supporting the Ironman team.

For each volunteer registered on behalf of our institution, Ironman makes a financial contribution to Casa de Umbanda Vovó Catarina . In other words: in addition to having an incredible experience, you directly help our spiritual and charitable work.

The impact of your help

In 2024 we participated as volunteers and it was a real success!

With the amount raised, we were able to maintain our activities:

  • Support the sessions and spiritual work, always free and open to the community;
  • Take care of the maintenance of the House and the necessary religious articles;
  • Carry out charitable projects, such as: donating clothes and toys; organizing charity bazaars; and supporting victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul in 2024.

How to participate

Simply sign up as a volunteer for Ironman 70.3 Melbourne and indicate Casa de Umbanda Vovó Catarina as the beneficiary institution. Together, we can unite sport, solidarity and spirituality for a greater cause.
